These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website at flightinsider.club and the booking facilitation services offered by Flight Insider ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing or using our website or services, you ("you," "user," "member") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. Service Description
Flight Insider is a private facilitation service connecting two groups: (a) verified, active airline crew and staff ("Members" / "Partners") who hold companion or buddy-pass travel allowances under their employer's staff-travel program, and (b) travelers ("Travelers") who wish to be listed as a companion for standby (non-revenue) air travel. We coordinate the listing of a Traveler as a companion on a Partner's staff-travel account, in exchange for a fee. We are not an airline, a travel agency, a tour operator, or a reseller of confirmed-seat tickets. We do not issue tickets, operate flights, or guarantee carriage.
2. Not Affiliated with Any Airline
Flight Insider is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to any airline or alliance, including but not limited to American, Delta, United, Southwest, JetBlue, Alaska, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Lufthansa, British Airways, Air France-KLM, Turkish Airlines, or Singapore Airlines. All airline names, logos, and trademarks referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used solely for descriptive identification purposes.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use our service. Partners must be active airline crew or staff in good standing. All users must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering or submitting a request.
4. Partner (Crew) Responsibilities & Program Compliance
You are solely responsible for confirming that issuing a companion listing through Flight Insider is permitted under your own airline's staff-travel program rules. Many carriers restrict, condition, or prohibit the transfer or sale of buddy-pass and companion-travel benefits, and violations can result in loss of travel privileges or termination of employment. Flight Insider does not provide legal or employment advice, does not access your airline credentials, and does not direct you to act outside your program's mechanics. By registering as a Partner you represent that your participation complies with your employer's policies, and you accept full responsibility for that determination.
5. Standby Listing Process
- Request: A Traveler submits a route, dates, and cabin preference via our website form or Telegram channel.
- Quote & odds: We respond with an all-in standby fare (taxes, carrier charges, and our flat facilitation fee) plus the expected load factors / boarding odds for each candidate flight, for guidance only.
- Listing & payment: If the Traveler accepts and pays, a verified Partner lists the Traveler as a companion on their staff-travel account. A standby boarding pass is issued in the Traveler's legal name through the airline's own system.
- Travel: The Traveler checks in and clears standby at the gate if and only if seats remain available after revenue passengers and higher-priority non-revenue travelers.
6. Pricing and Payment
All-in pricing is disclosed before payment is required. Standby fares depend on the carrier, route, cabin, taxes, and applicable charges, and may change until the listing is confirmed. Partner payouts are issued per listing in accordance with the schedule shared at onboarding. Payment and payout methods are as specified by us.
7. Standby Travel Is Not Guaranteed
Buddy-pass and companion travel is standby (space-available) and is never guaranteed. A Traveler boards only after revenue passengers and higher-priority non-revenue travelers, and only if seats remain. Load factors and boarding odds are provided for guidance only; actual clearance depends on real-time seat availability, non-revenue boarding priority, weather, equipment swaps, schedule changes, and other factors outside our control. Flight Insider is not liable for non-clearance, missed connections, delays, denied boarding, cabin assignment, or any consequential costs (including alternative transport, lodging, rebooking, or lost time) arising from standby travel. Premium-cabin seating, where mentioned, is available only where the operating airline permits non-revenue premium clearance and seats are open at the gate.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity, a Traveler's identity, employment status, or travel details
- Resell, transfer, or assign a listing made through our service without our written consent
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent airline authentication, fare rules, or staff-travel program rules
- Behave at the airport or onboard in any manner that jeopardizes a Partner's program standing (Travelers are expected to observe applicable dress and conduct standards)
- Interfere with our service, our website, or our network of Partners
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses. We do not warrant any particular outcome, savings level, fare, cabin, or seat availability.
Flight Insider is not responsible for the conduct, policies, pricing, schedules, or services of any airline, payment processor, or third party. Any dispute arising from your travel, denied boarding, or treatment by an airline is between you and that airline.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flight Insider, its officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for any direct damages arising from the service shall not exceed the booking fees you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Flight Insider and its officers, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third party's rights or applicable laws; or (d) any content or information you submit through the service.

14. Modifications
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Flight Insider is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation; failing that, through binding arbitration on an individual (not class) basis.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
